The area of Bayview Park lying in Block 15.19 and Block 15.22 as shown on the Tax Assessment Map of the Township of Long Beach shall henceforth be known as the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park.

All persons utilizing the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park 12 years of age or older shall display a beach badge issued by the Township of Long Beach valid for the period when the person enters the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park.

The public shall be permitted to and invited to use the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park between the hours of sunrise and sunset.

No motorized watercraft shall be launched from or landed on the beach in the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park.

No food or beverage shall be possessed nor consumed by any person in the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park.

Any dogs in the "dog park" area of the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall be securely fastened on leashes which shall be held by the handlers of any dogs in the "dog park" located in the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, the owner or handler of a dog in the "dog park" wishing to throw dummies, tennis balls, or any other object made of material soft enough to cause no injury to a person or animal if such person or animal is struck by the object may throw such objects into the Bay for purposes of training or exercising their dog provided that such dog is under full control of the owner or handler and will proceed only directly from the owner or handler to retrieve the object and return directly to the owner or handler.

All dogs in the "dog park" located at the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall have affixed to their collars licenses issued by the Municipality in which their owners or handlers permanently reside, if the Municipality in which the owner or handler resides with the dog do not require that dogs be licensed then, and in that event, the owner or handler shall secure a Long Beach Township dog license and securely affix such license to the dog's collar.

Handlers of any dogs in the "dog park" located on the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall comply with the Ordinances of Long Beach Township concerning the immediate collection and disposal of fecal materials deposited by any dogs under their care, custody and control and such collection and disposal shall be conducted by the dog's handler immediately upon the dog's relieving themselves.

All users of the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall be considerate to other users since Bayview Park was purchased with Green Acres funding to provide a park and recreation area for all taxpayers, residents, citizens and visitors in, of and to the Township of Long Beach and Green Acres administrative officers have expressly approved Long Beach creation of a "dog park" in the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park.

All users of the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall comply with all State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Rules and Regulations:

Clean and plentiful water is important to our families, our environment, our economy and our quality of life. Animal waste from pets can pollute our waters. When left on the ground, pet waste is washed by rain, melting snow and ice into storm drains and carried to our rivers, lakes, ocean, and drinking water. Animal waste contains high concentrations of nutrients, as well as bacteria and disease-causing microorganisms that can cause problems.

Pet owners, or anyone who takes your pet for walks, must properly dispose of the waste by picking it up, wrapping it, and either placing it in the trash, or flushing it unwrapped down the toilet.

Municipalities are required to adopt and enforce local pet-waste laws. At a minimum, our community must require that pet owners, or their keepers, immediately and properly dispose of their pet's solid waste deposited on any public or private property not owned or possessed by that person. People with assistance animals, such as seeing-eye dogs, are exempt.
- All visitors to the North Recreation Area at Bayview Park shall strictly comply with all noise Ordinances and other Ordinances of the Township of Long Beach concerning the behavior of persons while in the Township.
